I have to big-up this post from an old colleague of mine: Pass/Fail Fail: When Designers Think Design Solves Everything.
The point of designs are to make things functional. And also look awesome - but the functional bit comes first, and is kinda the whole point.

Joss Whedon to direct nine episodes of Glee
Well, I might be a bit behind the news, but I am definitely excited about this!
Let’s face it, Glee isn’t quite perfect (as much as I wish it was). Since it’s inception it’s received mixed reviews, and I can’t help but agree with opinions from both sides.

Making Chromium use my local Google
When I came back from my trip to Australia, I noticed all my Google searches from Chromium were searching Google Australia (google.com.au). This sucked, because I wanted to use google.co.uk again to get local results.
There’s many articles on the internet about changing the Google “base URL” in Chromium. After reading some, I visited www.google.com/ncr...
