An Education

I give it 3 out of 5. A warm story about a girl growing up. Based on the memoirs of Lynn Barber.

I couldn’t help feeling it seemed just that though - a storytelling dedicated to a book of memoirs. For me, the film didn’t really offer any deep thought-provoking ideas on the situations it depicted that hadn’t already been thrown at me before (which is what I like in a film).

At the end of the day, it was good, but in a week I will have forgotten about it. Maybe I missed something? Other people seemed to like it. I’d be more interested to read the book (though I probably never will).
